Dr. Steve Christner

Pastor

Steve Christner graduated from Hyles-Anderson College in 1977 and 1978.  He and his wife Sally came to Calvary Baptist Church in December of 1981.  Here they have served faithfully with their four children for thirty-eight years.

In 1993 Pastor Christner was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from his Alma Mater. We are honored to have such a humble servant of God as our pastor.

Joshua Montes

Assistant Pastor

Joshua Montes graduated from Eastgate Baptist College, NJ in 2016. He and his wife Samatha along with their two boys came to Calvary Baptist Church in December of 2019 and Joshua serves as Assistant Pastor.

Before coming to Calvary Baptist Church, Joshua served as Assiatant Pastor in Philedephia from 2014-2019.  Joshua also serves in the International National guard.

Alexis Bringhurst

Church Secretary

Alexis Bringhurst has faithfully served as our church secretary since 2024. A graduate of our Christian School in 2018, she went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Assistance from Vision Baptist College in 2022. She and her husband have been happily married for four years and are proud parents to their one-year-old daughter, who brings joy to everyone she meets. Together, they are deeply involved in the ministry, serving both the church and school. They also lead our Master Club program, helping to guide and disciple the next generation on Wednesday nights. Her heart for the Lord, love for children, and commitment to the ministry are a true blessing to our church family.
